Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Clinic
The Program in Gynecology for Children, Adolescents and Young Adults is dedicated to treating conditions affecting the female reproductive system. Part of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, we collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff in the University of Chicago's adult and the Comer Children's hospitals. We diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting girls and care for infants, girls, adolescents and young adults. We are here to serve as a resource for pediatricians and families.
The Program provides a youth-friendly environment for patients and their families. Through our patient-centered approach, we work with patients to develop a plan of treatment. We provide letters to referring physicians detailing the assessment and management plan.

- Abnormal Pap smears
- Abnormalities of puberty (absent periods)
- Breast masses
- Contraception (birth control pills, rings, patches, injections, implants, IUDs)
- Contraception for medical use
- Cysts of the ovary
- Development problems of the reproductive system
- Endometriosis
- Human Papilloma Virus
- Labial Adhesions
- Lichen Sclerosis
- Menstrual problems (delayed, heavy, painful, irregular)
